These five tips could ease your use of Canvas at Cal Poly Humboldt. Follow the embedded links to find out more!

1. Get the App!! Find the Canvas by Instructure app for Apple and Android devices on Google Play or App Store.

2. Stay in touch!! Send emails to your professors and classmates via the Conversations tool right in Canvas.  If you are using a preferred email address, please be sure to add it to your Canvas Settings so your Canvas inbox will connect properly to your Humboldt gmail account.

3. Customize your Dashboard!! Nickname your courses on your Dashboard.

4. Accessibility Options!! Users who may want or need more contrast for text and interface elements can use the "High Contrast UI" or “Underline Links” feature in Canvas. This option can be found in the User Account > Settings > Feature Options area (at the bottom of the page).

5. View assignment comments/feedback from your instructor. Also, check the Humboldt Learning 101 for more useful information!
